Not exactly the same, but a version of the Goes Wrong Show has aired on Christmas Day... On Radio 2. Think it was the same year the TV pilot was on BBC One and the idea was the same company had a radio show on Christmas Day but the wrong records kept playing, so instead of Slade, Cliff Richard Summer Holiday went out in full. Twice. Back to back.
Since it was an unknown quantity at the time, and it wasn't made clear it was a spoof, it went down extremely badly especially as it had a relatively prime slot at 10am! Quite a few people I saw that day commented on the "shambles" that Radio 2 had let on air and wondered why it hadn't been pulled.
That's usually the Junior Choice slot but Ed Stewart had died earlier in the year, so it was rested. Suffice to say a rebooted Junior Choice returned the following year.
Anyway I know that's zero indication of how the TV show would do, but thought it worth mentioning!
The Goes Wrong Show hasn't done well enough to earn a Christmas Day slot, likewise NGO.

They were all great, 90 degrees particularly so. Their contribution to Children In Need the other week was the best thing on the programme
They've had one series, which started with a Christmas episode, but before that there was a TV version of Peter Pan Goes Wrong a few years ago and then they followed that up with Christmas Carol Goes Wrong the year after
Going by how many stage productions they had going at the beginning of the year it obviously hasn't.
Eventually I suspect they'll run out of thngs that can 'go wrong' and they did reuse some of the ideas from the stage shows into the TV series, but there's a bit of life in it yet.
Obviously the stunts etc need a lot of skill to achieve by the actors, but also the writing is excellent too. It's not obvious from watching one episode but it's the same characters in every one. The actors are playing actors and those actors are playing different roles in a fictional play. You get to know the characters throughout the series

Has the Goes Wrong joke not worn thin yet? I don’t get it...

Big Show only got Xmas day in 2018, it was on Christmas Eve up to then.
Makes you wonder if he is contracted for a Christmas Day slot. Before Big Show he did a late night chat show on at least one Christmas Day which would probably be quite welcome this year.
