It really shouldn't be too surprising that both the Amazon Prime and Channel 4 highlights (which were both a match short of what they had expected to cover with the France v Fiji cancellation) carried very similar material.
They were both made by Sunset and Vine and were from the same West London edit facility.
I don't imagine many people who watched the Amazon Prime highlights would have then watched the Channel 4 programme late on a Sunday. Except for those of us on this forum of course.....

Co-holders of rights using the same material and personnel is becoming more and more common, probably due to more subletting of rights going on rather than packages being bought separately.

Rugby Union ....

The Autumn Nations Cup has been hit again with a second Fiji tie (v Italy) being cancelled, following last weekend's France game, due to more C19 cases in the Fijian camp. The competitive nature of the tournament seems to be compromised as a result. It'll take a bit of sorting.

Was inevitable - should have been called off the minute France was really considering the 14 day isolation period for close contacts (though that may vary in France/Italy). The increased positive tests though surely now puts the remaining Fiji game against Scotland into doubt the following weekend. I suspect though if other teams remain clear to compete they'll be quite happy with what was able to go ahead.

Mark Champan standing down as the host of the BBC's NFL coverage.

It'll be a loss for viewers of the shows- they've been perfectly pitched to satisfy anyone from the casual or curious fans to those who've watched for years. Mark Chapman knew how to get the best out of Jason Bell and Osi Umenyiora, the chemistry between them was brilliant and often very funny.

Edit - I missed the clue as to who is taking over.....

Wonder if Mark will still host the Superbowl considering Dan doesn't do Sundays.

His tweet is very much written as if that's it for him on any NFL coverage. More likely would be Nat Coombs - who has covered the NFL Show in the past few weeks (as well as a few times before that) and, more crucially, some of the live coverage of the London games, when Mark Chapman was busy with MOTD2.

Mark Chapman had the background of being a long time NFL watcher, Dan has said on Twitter he's a (Minnesota) Vikings fan. However, with two such good pundits it's about asking the right questions and letting them do the analysis.

I can see the BBC wanting a 'football friendly' face given the placing of the show right after MOTD and there is a chance that, in time, Dan Walker can work up some of the same chemistry Mark Chapman had with Osi and Jason. (Won't be quite the same though, that was something special.)

At the risk of going all BM11 that seems an unnecessary risk, especially on the day Adelaide went into a far stricter lockdown than we've seen here off the back of just 20 cases.
Turns out nobody had 2020 vision.

Sky Sports Cricket currently showing an archive T20 match from 2005 complete with a plug for a premium rate text vote for the Man of the Match and no effort to cover it up.

Is that normal or would that usually have been caught by a compliance process?
Write that down in your copybook now.
