Radio rather than TV but Innuendo Bingo aired it's final episode today, recorded prior to the pedantic. Apparently moving forward spitting water into people's faces may be considered unhygienic.

Watching The Royle Family and it looks rough quality wise in HD. I assume the BBC has decided not to remaster the original footage.

They would have to dig out the original film (if it even still exists) and re-scan it and re-edit the shows from scratch to make them HD. And presumably ITV would be the ones responsible for that seeing as it was made by Granada.
