https://www.facebook.com/111554362220899/posts/3540606805982287/ that's how he was revealed. I agree, they'll probably keep us waiting all week.
In other Chase news the first episode of the Chase Australia from Sydney aired yesterday. Can see a couple of slight differences in the studio. Interesting article here https://tvtonight.com.au/2020/10/beat-the-chasers-set-in-sydney-control-room-in-melbourne.html which talks about how they've been filming with the control room still back in Melbourne.

Slightly late with this one but Jahti (the Finnish Chase) has commissioned Super-Jahti (Beat the Chasers) https://www.facebook.com/itvstudiosfinland/photos/pb.1439705779606329.-2207520000../2671461863097375/?type=3&eid=ARC67VSxmJa6AdhqUctyHo4uXuhOORFqckLHkMr1_PMmGta5LqWGDHUO7Jn5X04JI8Eib1GGKWsgGYhm.
Will be interesting to see how this works with just 3 chasers, will they follow the Australian 3 offers system but just take on one chaser for your cash-builder or will they get another chaser on board?
They've also done this interesting Photoshop of the set:
EDIT - Done a bit of research and found somewhere which suggests that set was from the pilot of the UK show. Definitely think what we ended up with looked better!

The big giveaway that wasn't the Finnish set, is the £ denomination graphic at the side of The Chasers podium.
That's a rare case of the pilot set actually looking better than the actual series set.
Much cleaner, nicer colours, and no sign of that silly LED ribbon running around the top of the audience seating, making it look like a demented indoor sports arena.

I agree, I think the final set design is much better and was meant to give that "sports arena" impression and look and feel dominating.
They're meant to be filming BTC S2 at the end of the month (not sure what's happening now with lockdown) so I did wonder whether that is why they're introducing the new chaser in a seemingly random week in November so that he's known by the audience and contestants before filming. Not sure how they'll work the offers but I'd guess you'll take on 3 chasers for your cash builder instead and then the number of offers stays the same.
Interesting glimpse of the pilot - I think the "demented sports arena" look they went for with the final version is exactly what they were going for.

Of course for series 2 of the UK version they’ll need six offers surely as the new chaser will be involved?

SRO audiences say that the audience has been cancelled so I think they’re still filming later this month.

Also, that's clearly the UK Chasers. This isn't Photoshopped at all.

Yes, I realise that now. I've also since had it confirmed by someone who was at the pilot recording.

They might just switch one out per episode, or he might just not feature in this series.
Will be interesting if he filmed any of the recent celeb episodes - half expecting him not to turn up this week then show up on Saturday night.
