This is why Shepard Smith is at CNBC.

Sorry for repeating myself, but Shep is excellent.

Looks like CNN is expecting some major news in the next few hours. Yesterday, they were handing over to John Berman. But today, they're handing over to Wolf Blitzer, Jake Tapper and Dana Bash.

EDIT: Plus John King.
Meridian AM and Newsroom gave kudos

Goodness me Wolf is back on now at 7am US time after doing a massive shift yesterday. Do these guys even get a sleep? 😂

The fact that the CNN top team are already on this early makes me think we are soon going to get the big moment and maybe the call.

CNN have been great throughout it’s fair to say. John King seems to rightly be getting much praise and Anderson’s ‘Obese Turtle’ line last night seems like it’ll be the line that’s remembered from this year’s election coverage.
Have to say too while John King has got a lot of credit for his Magic Wall work, Phil Mattingly is also excellent and hopefully becomes more prominent over the next few years.

We’ve even had Quest yelling at us about ‘THE FUTURE OF MICE’ in the (Quest voice) Bussiiinnness Travvvvellleeer’ advert.

Unfortunately his inflexion is spoken in such a way that you can tell they've used the same clip twice in that promo.

So when Biden is declared then Fox will not call him president-elect according to CNN which is utterly stupid and make them the network that sums it up for the president's bidding. CNN rightly calling them out.

I suspect the backlash they’ve got from calling Arizona early is part of the reason for this. Perhaps Fox will spend the next 4 years pretending Biden isn’t in the White House to avoid upsetting their audience.

I think the point is that he will be at 270 votes regardless of whether Arizona is called correctly so it's rather silly of Fox not to call him president-elect.
