The DOG has remained the same (apart from a snow effect when it appears), and have done the opposite of Trace Xmas, by removing the programme name DOG.
The lack of on-screen clutter makes it a much more watchable channel than many of the other music channels.
I believe it's more that the Boxmas graphics from last year haven't automatically applied or has gone wrong, meaning the Christmas version of The Box presentation (snow effect) has applied instead.
The current show and some earlier shows should be using a different icy blue graphics package also created last year, but is stuck using the general The Box set.

I noticed earlier today that Boxmas now has a programme name DOG, although there hadn't been any change to the channel name DOG or graphics.
The programme titles appeared this morning. I received the email this evening (which I have just realised I never explained was from the programming director at Box Plus). The change to the Boxmas graphics will now most likely happen tomorrow, my guess being either at midnight or 6am.
It's been an interesting few days dipping in and out of BoXmas.
Sunday: BoXmas went live but carried on using The Box graphics without programme information
Monday: The Box's Programme Info GFX in the top right returned
Tuesday: BoXmas graphics (song titles and show info) appeared, The Box logo still on screen
Wednesday: BoXmas logo replaces The Box logo

Spoke too soon - Trace Vault has programme titles onscreen again now too.
I'm sure the logo has changed colour too... Unless I'm going mad (which is possible). Back to the same shade of purple as the pre-Trace days.

Yes, the colour has changed. It was previously blue/teal.
Trace Vault programming/playlists do seem to have changed recently, and are now more similar to that of The Vault.
Looks like MTV Classic will become MTV Xmas on Thursday 12th November at 6am.
MTV Classic is usually the MTV Xmas rebrand channel anyway.
Magic also adopts its Christmas branding/schedule next Saturday 14th. Although unlike last year (because Boxmas launched for the first time) it changes to full-time Christmas. Last year it was a mixture with the normal schedule, until 1st December when it went full Christmas.

It looks a lot better with this new colour scheme, the purple and mint green work together quite well. It does seem like they're trying to reverse the changes they made with the initial rebrand to Trace, since it was more a nostalgic playlist in line with Trace Urban.

I have noticed this, even during non-music programming. Watching an episode of Clueless on Sunday they put up "Clueless S03" on screen although the font they use made it look like it said 503 at first glance.
The Now / Clubland channels are truly awful when it comes to clutter though. Damn.
