Didn't want to quote the whole post about the 'new' glass box lighting due to all the pictures, but I think it's been there for a while. I've certainly seen it before - most likely just that they've turned off the main lighting in that corridor so the blue lighting is more prominent. Having said that, the change is much more noticeable now than it has been before.

No, they used a completely new purple lighting for the SkyNews Today show in the related post, as for the SJM show, also the light boxes have changed colour in the picture and the spotlights before the mirrors are also purple instead of the usual red. And btw there is no ''main lighting'' in the corridor. Thats why they look so ugly dark greenish.

Like to know where there originating from as they don’t have a teeny conference room or editing bay in the Fox bureau for flash cams. NBC has opened their new updated bureau but I’d like to see if they’re going to use a studio of a flash cam as well.
Don’t let anyone treat you like you’re a VO/SOT when you’re a PKG.

But I thought it's selling point was being from Westminster.

A week early to make that move IMO given the current news agenda.
Turns out nobody had 2020 vision.

Dermot has been doing pres from the roof of what I believe is the NBC bureau... so maybe there.

Is there really much advantage doing a show in Washington at 2am in the morning?

I imagine that’s where they’ll be pushed to on Election Night. They’ll probably set up two stories of press risers like they’ve done in the past. They’ve also installed an insulated tent for all the extra correspondents.

I suppose it’s more logical than doing it at 2am in the afternoon.

Seemingly some issues? No Kay Burley. Stephen Dixon presenting from the Glass Box - a new ‘Kay Burley’ graphic (that I hadn’t seen before) used a background image on the big screen.

Looks like a change of plan last night.
