Sky's new show on woodworking (The Repair Shop meets Bake Off) has an contestant with many tattoos that signify important family events, which unfortunately also coincidentally match up with numbers used by neo-Nazis... the 88 used to commerate the year of his father's death matches code for H eil H itler, and the 23 and 16 on his face are also used to promote W hite P ower.

Could be a very expensive mistake...

Why?

It is amazing that they have fallen for his story about his dad dying in 1988. And as of 50 minutes ago they're still pedalling that story to people complaining on Twitter, even though there are other white supremacist marks on his head that bear no relation to that story. It is quite something. I've got no doubt that the series will be pulled off air and their stance on Twitter changed very soon.

Goes to show how much impact this series has had given that it started airing last week but has only just found controversy!

To be fair, the History channel has endless documentries about the Nazis, this is just continuing the trend... sort of

How on earth do they tattoo your eyelids?

Did watch the first ep as thought it might be interesting. It does feel like Rick Edward's was bought into host but then they decided they wanted someone else and bought in Lee Mack, who does most of his links alone away from set. A few interviews did then turn up with Lee and the contestants and ultimately a round fire discussion with Rick and Will Hardy which may debunk my theory, but they could easily have been added later.

There was a French teacher (a teacher from France) on This Morning the other week who had tattooed eyes . Its illegal in a lot of countries, he had to go to Switzerland to have it done. Just baffles me

If he feels the allegations are unfair, he can excercise his Reich of Reply.

I am a bit worried Richard Osman uses the same code.

Erm, they haven’t removed the video as of me posting.

I presume they are referring to A&E networks removing the video, rather than Sky History, expect that to go imminently too.
