Or how many will just take to finding an illegal stream. At that price, plenty I'd have thought.
With the mighty Saints taking on Chelski later today in the first of the PPV's - I've just had a look at what's running on BT Sport Box Office channel on Sky, and the nothing but a blue screen and an EPG banner.
No barker screen, no moving pictures on a loop, no text about upcoming games, no phone number or 'press (colour) button to order this match' - nothing.
Which for money hungry football clubs, is very low key, so the backlash last week might have sunk in.
Wonder how many people will buy these Premier League matches at £14.95?

PPV? What PPV?
Sky don't seem to be plugging their game either (but are advertising a fight in December).
I wonder if the lack of promotion is a decision by the broadcasters or from the league?

BT in the studio for their early PL game today, rather than sending lots of pundits and crew to (Tier 3) Liverpool

You spoke too soon - #BoycottPPV is trending on Twitter.
The outrage quickly disappeared - no doubt helped by the convenient timing of Project Big Picture.

On Air promotion on BTS for the two BTS Box Office matches around 30mins in to the Merseyside Derby.

Probably just me being a cynic, but as the revenue from the matches goes directly to the clubs - not the broadcasters - isn’t it in Sky & BT’s interests for the PPV games to go under the radar?
They’ll be getting a flat rate regardless, and the fewer people watching, the smaller risk of the non-linear services breaking (and causing some of said fee to be repaid).

Lower down the leagues, a few non-league clubs are streaming free of charge - Dulwich Hamlet v Chippenham Town has just kicked off on Dulwich's YouTube; Hampton & Richmond Borough have been doing the same. Both are in National League South.

It's more of less business as usual - Lynsey Hipgrave presenting pitchside, Ian Darke and Glen Hoddle on comms. There was a different title card, and they've got BT Sport Box Office mic windshields and branding on the podium.
All of this weekend's matches have the Premier League's 'No Room for Racism' branding, so graphics are a lot more monochrome than usual.

Wonder if they'll even be Sky/BT productions or whether the PL will just throw the international service on there.

There’s been two mentions of the late Sky Sports PPV game so far in the build up to Man City v Arsenal.
