Is that a Southern Television mug behind Fred? Also an ‘End of Part’ caption too?

Was just posting about this. Nic Ayling who owns Terrific Television (prod company behind the reboot) owns the identity of Southern Television - so I would guess it very much is.

Southern TV mug yes. I think it's a 1958 to 1981 commemorative one?

Also left hand side is a grey 1 Inch VT box I think?

That's not an incarnation of the Southern Star logo, on that mug that I recognise.

But there's also under the red button on the desk, some yellow card with 'Southern ITV' on it.

The outer ring says I think, Southern Television 1958 1981, as per the image I posted above?

Yes, on closer inspection it's definitely the Southern logo...

And on even closer inspection, both yellow pieces of paper have Southern Television on them. 🧐

What's the significance of the 6-2-71 date on the clapperboard behind Fred?

I don’t think it’s a clapperboard. It looks like an old-school, physical VT clock. Cool

Clapperboard 😎 Now, there's another fine children's programme from the 70s

You're quite right, it is a VT clock. I have no idea why I wrote clapperboard!
Write that down in your copybook now.
