It's probably fair to say most recasts don't prioritise casting a clone of the original. Makes me laugh though people moaning about him not having a scar - yes, like that's the biggest issue!
Of course there is the standard recasting of child actors which happens more often than not but other than that it doesn't feel like Corrie recast adult roles as often as some other soaps (well, EastEnders) do.
I don't see that he's so wildly different-looking from Bruno Langley. As recasts go I'd say he's closer than most. Plus now Todd's got a Mancunian accent instead of a quasi-Liverpudlian one.
I see as well as the conclusion of the Yasmeen trial they're doing what they seem to do on every anniversary and having a developer threaten to flatten the street again so supposedly Ken Barlow can give a speech at the end. Appreciate though that they've probably had to significantly change their plans this year.

Amazingly though, that was actually 20 years ago now, so they probably are allowed to do similar again
They followed Joanna Lumley with Tan France from Queer Eye, which is...nice. I’d hoped it would all be former actors from the show doing these Twitter tributes.
Looks like whoever was responsible for editing out the Cadbury's sponsorship on today's first ITV3 episode messed up and cut away too soon, as we lost the last few seconds of the end credits as well.
Corrie fans may be interested in this rare interview with Barbara Knox from Des O’Connor Tonight, late 1989 I believe. Includes Barbara and Des signing a duet. Starts at 03:20:
