The first regular Sunday/4th weekly episode is on ITV3 tommorow. Means the speed we're getting through the years will slow again.

So about 2 and a half years a year if my maths is correct. Guess they should hit the Millennium around the end of next year.

I think Corrie has now not been on Sundays longer than it was on Sundays.

Still miss the Sunday ep. The stories always flowed much better across more days rather than the double-bills set on the same day.

And now Weatherfield has banished weekends completely.

With Yasmeen, Gail and Eileen returning this week, who haven't been seen since the pre-lockdown episodes, as well as Nick's lost son, the first child we've seen on-screen since the pre-lockdown episodes, I'm assuming we've reached the point where they're starting to allow people back on set who weren't before.

How many episodes behind is Classic Coronation Street from Classic Emmerdale?

Yes, I enjoyed how the Sunday episodes had a slightly different feel to them being set at the weekend. The closest we get now is on Bank Holidays.

Everyone’s back tonight - Jonny, Roy, Evelyn, and that’s to add to Gail, Eileen who returned earlier this week

And that’s before we mention New Todd

There are more returning soon too...

We just need the return of Audrey now

I find it funny now various characters keep shouting up the stairs at their kids to hurry up, even though we know they aren’t going to appear. First it was Kev with Jack, and now David shouting for Max and Lily

Congratulations to Maureen Lipman, now a Dame. Has there ever been a regular cast member to be Dame or Sir? Obviously Ian Mckellan was a guest for severally weeks but I can't think of any?

The social distancing on Coronation Street is very noticeable and awkward.
Neighbours has done a great job at hiding it a lot of the time, particularly between characters who live together. I wonder what techniques they are using that Coronation Street aren't able to or don't want to.

Maybe Neighbours are doing similar to EastEnders with split screens and perspex sheets?

Also amusing that Eileen managed to recognise Todd straight away despite the fact he looks nothing like Bruno Langley's version.
