Most people based in London have been working a maximum three day week since March, could that explain why Christan was off? Even Ros hasn't presented four days of OS, could Katty be starting same arrangements with Laura,

B already has Shotoku heads. Could get some SmartPeds I guess, but you'd still need a jib operator and someone doing the robotic peds.

Jibs don’t seem to be used on the BBC World program in studio B. And the robotics could be controlled in Mosart like the Furios with manual intervention as needed.

It's one thing to have robotic cameras on tracks controlled by automation, it's another to have robotic pedestals controlled by automation. A certain satellite broadcaster tried it and had to bring back operators due to safety concerns and the fact that the cameras really weren't reliable enough to accurately go to stored positions.

Well there was one issue here in the US of cameras keep running into a expensive touch screen multiple times. The issue was camera operators in NY controlling cameras manually in DC relying on a snoop cam that had a delay of a second or two in building and by the time it reached NY - too late to stop a camera. With the number of screens they replaced they could of hired a camera operator in DC.

If only camera robotic manufacturers could make sensors that you could put along the head of the camera to prevent them from running into each other. Or make the sensors in the base smart enough to know that say the camera and prompter extend a foot out.

Maybe an error but for some reason BBC News bulletins in Outside Source slot and 9pm have been changed from BBC News to World News Today on Friday and at weekends, could that be a sign of evening output going back to normal? Though happened before.... but never been put back in

Pre-Covid on Friday all three hours were WNT, and Nancy has been starting at 7pm sometimes on Friday's recently

I imagine it's a mistake as it would be extremely unlikely for an hour that is technically an unnamed bulletin Mon-Thursday to be a named bulletin at weekends, but in any case it's only the 21:00 hour that is listed as WNT. The only reason that Nancy did a modified shift on a singular Friday a couple of weeks ago is because there was no presenter scheduled for the previous slot on world due to a news special presented by Clive Myrie (who couldn't stay on air on world as he was also presenting the 10).

But why would they change it from BBC News to WNT and Kasia thinks it’s back on air

I wonder if the current set up will remain and the presenter of the One will do Afternoon Live? Although if Afternoon Live is 2-5 same as before it's more likely the same person will do the One and the 5pm hour. Unless of course Huw comes back to do the 5pm hour.
