I'd guess Pick may just take the Monday 6pm games - would be surprised if they get as many as last time.

So will they be bringing Pick HD back again? I wish they would just leave it as a permanent HD channel (and sort their DOG out either way).

Why can't they use Sky Sports Mix and Sky One? Why involve Pick?

Because people without Sky (or Now TV or such equivalents) will not have access to those channels.

Because they want to reach a big audience, and Pick is free and on Freeview/Freesat. Sky One and Sky Sports Mix are pay channels with considerably smaller audiences.

The Sky Sports website, and the Premier League website don't show any games as on Pick. I'm sure these things are still being decided, but I wouldn't count on the additional Sky games being free to air.

The pressured altruistic approach by Sky at the end of the last season using Pick, applies less now, considering that restrictions on movement and the resultant lack of alternative entertainment are less than they were when the 2019/20 season was resumed. It'll be interesting to see whether AZPV offer their additional match FTA again, I feel they will.

October is interesting. There's another International break so I'd suggest we'll get an easy approach to the first set of matches on the first weekend (3rd) and they'll get full coverage without much argument. A lot depends on the state of the Nation as to what happens from the weekend back post break (17th). That could be when the questions get asked in detail again.

Interesting, earlier when I looked at the announcement on the Premier League website some games were on Pick (I remember the 6pm Monday games were, for example), but now it just says Sky Sports.

Same here. It’s probably more that Sky aren’t sure what their plans are yet.
