BT Sport’s final community shield of course.

Just wondering who will have rights next time round? Have they decided that already?

ITV replace BT as the other FA Cup/community shield rights holder along with the BBC. ITV will get exclusive live rights to the community shield.

On ITV from next year, possibly with highlights still on the BBC as ITV take over the "pay TV" aspect of the current FA Cup contract.

Yes, it’s been stated the BBC will still show highlights of the match. As ITV seem to like to show highlights of every live football they show the same evening, I wouldn’t be too shocked if they also show it in a different slot.

Anyone know why Sky Sports appear to have no live UEFA Nations League games in their schedule for next weekend?

Sky Sports schedules are not really accurate more than three days in advance - and the skysports.com schedule only goes up to Friday and is broken anyway...

It's as if even the rightsholders don't care about the Nations League being played this year. If ever there was a tournament to be cancelled surely it's this one, not just due to it being an unnecessary burden on a massively disrupted football season but with the practicalities of traveling throughout Europe to be considered. Indeed in current circumstances might have been better to schedule a three matchday slot for it and have each group of 4 play in one designated country - at least then it can exist in some kind of bubble.

I do find it strange that live coverage isn't in the schedules but yet 30 minute highlights of each game turns up on the schedule Saturday at 9:30am.

It’s an odd one. If there was some doubt about the fixtures going ahead I’d understand but afaik there isn’t.

Incidentally, whether there was any doubt about it before, it seems clear from the EPG that Sky Sports NFL will indeed be a rename of Action - all programmes from Thursday 6am are gridiron related. Looks like NFL Network programming will form a good chunk of the schedule.

Nations League ....

There have been a number of 'issues' with the Sky Sports EPG both the official list online and the YouView on air version in the past 48 hours. The matches are all listed on the UEfA website as being on Sky. A significant number will of course be on the red button but I'd expect at least all the 'home' nations and the ROI matches to be shown on air as usual.

Major issues with the Eurosport commentary of the opening stage of the Tour de France this afternoon, distorted similar to burbling DAB. They're investigating and have put captioning on screen.

Seems to be okay now, but how did it take for Eurosport to notice? Like, five minutes?

Just because a problem hasn’t been fixed doesn’t mean it hasn’t been noticed.
