That must be when he recorded his bit for EE then, though it seems a bit soon to have recorded something that would have gone out the same month. Maybe they slipped his cameo into an already recorded episode?

I think at the time Robbie was turning up to the opening of an envelope, to be honest, so I wouldn't be surprised if he went to Elstree twice.

Perspex screens to separate actors, real-life partners as body doubles, and CGI composite shots are all being used.

His Wikipedia article says he wasn't legally allowed to release solo material as long as Take That were still together, so he had six months or so of not being able to do anything between leaving and the group splitting.

They've posted a behind the scenes video up, looks very complicated! No wonder it's taken so long to get back on air and the episodes are shorter.

So 8.05pm suggests they're adding 5 minutes to two shows rather than ten minutes to The One Show.

I imagine they will just pad out with trailers, start the next show at 8:28 and the next one at 8:59

At least that means the News at Ten should start on time.

It didn’t tonight. The BBC Three programme ran past 10.00. 🙄
ITV News at Ten started a couple of minutes after 10.00, but still before BBC One News at Ten. At least Sky News at Ten started at 10.00.

What a travesty.

Here’s a recent behind the scenes, showing that even the glasses are composited on using green screen:

BillyH, you just made me spill my 'non-virtual wine' by laughing so much . . . Very Happy

What an excellent find!

Radio Times TV guide has confirmed how the new shorter EastEnders episodes will be accounted for in the schedules.

The One Show will be extended by 5 minutes to finish at 7.35. So then Panorama is on then and then EastEnders starts at 8.05.

I imagine there’ll be a few more trailers added on round the sides to make up for the other 5 minutes.
