I am keen to see how The Graham Norton Show will do in the autumn. A show which actually did a very reasonable lock down version, is still an audience based show, and I am still wondering what they plan to do in the autumn?
What are the options for a talk show like Graham's? Will they carry on with the lock down version? Will they do a Jimmy Fallon, and return to a studio setting, as Fallon returned with a vastly different set layout and a socially distanced crew, but all interviews are still done via online or satellite feed.
I'd imagine a hybrid is quite likely as they won't be able to have a full sofa of guests, so it'll probably be one in studio guest and the rest via Skype/Zoom etc. Jonathan Ross is also returning but I don't think the ITV press release gave any indication as to what format it would take.

Jonathan Ross could adopt the one guest in, one guest out format which he used to do his BBC chat show.

And indeed for the first few years of him being on ITV. In fact it was only ever changed as reaction to the success of The Graham Norton Show.
I wonder how The Last Leg will do? I know it is a long way off, the end of October 2020 in fact when they return, I wonder if Adam will ever get back to the UK, as he lives in Melbourne, now at the centre of the current Australian spike in cases.
Think it is fair to say nobody has a clue what the world will be like come October now. Nobody would have thought a few weeks ago that Melbourne would be in a much harsher lockdown than England - and I think we're in for far more twists and turns yet. I'd imagine any series being planned at the moment has a Plan A, Plan B and Plan C at least.
I wasn't fully convinced by The Last Leg being hosted remotely but it got better as the series went on. On a similar theme though I would hope the BBC have commissioned another series of the Ranganation to air sooner rather than later as that actually worked far better virtually than it did in the studio, so would like to see that back in the autumn.

Do you think? How come? I definitely enjoyed the remote ones and hope it does come back sooner rather than later.
Pobol y Cwm is still not back in production a month after they were initially supposed to return due to a dispute over financing between the BBC and, well, the BBC.
In For a Penny has started filming the next series today. Not a show I expected to be back filming so soon, so it'll be interesting to see how they have adapted it.

Bit tricky when most of us haven't paid in cash for months. Agree I'm surprised they've gone ahead with filming something which isn't in a controlled environment.
