We moan about the lack of consistency in presenter rotas these days, but doing these counts has made me realise it really is nothing new.

2014 and 15 could quite easily be 2019 and 20! No significant changes between then and now. Suggesting a quite consistent set-up on the Ten.

This year has probably been the best in years, in fact. It’s (normally) Huw Monday to Wednesday, Sophie on a Thursday and Clive on a Friday. You have Reeta if not, mixed in with the occasional Fiona and Tina. Jane hasn’t appeared this year I don’t think, nor has Mishal.

Yes, indeed. Huw as chief anchor with Fiona & Sophie as deputies, Clive & Reeta as main stand-ins, and Mishal, Jane and (later) Tina as occasional stand-ins. Although there might be a slight difference when I get to counting 2019 as Fiona started Question Time and other presenters started appearing more frequently.

I was more referring to the News at One in my post above about lack of consistency.

Reeta tends to appear on Friday's when Clive is away, while all of Fiona's appearances on the Ten this year have been on days she's also presented the Six, which tend to be Monday's. I think the Ten is slowly moving into a new system for presenters, although the summer will probably muck that up!
