I take your points, and your reasons for posting work.
My suggestion is simply to show more humility. With all the younger members offering praise and applause for your work I'm sure it's easy to adopt the superior status they elevate you to.
However, you should keep perspective of your work, and be aware that not everyone in these forums are so in awe of prettily artworked frames. Your ego has often got the better of you with some of your comments, and the attention that sort of action draws in may not always be that of adoring eyes. You stand out as a little big-headed about your work, and that is not a quality even the best designers should have.
I agree my early comments were seen as harsh, and I have endeavored to justify them since wherever possible.
My intention is indeed to provoke a reaction among the forum members, as I believe an injection of realism is required. When asked, I will happily elaborate and justify any of my comments.
In response to your literalism - this may indeed be a definition of mock:

But I'd guess if we were sensible we'd admit that this is not what was implied when the 'Mocks Forum' was named, or indeed what is intended by the work submitted - wouldn't you agree?
Saying that, for the large part maybe it should have been.
Yes you may be the breath of fresh air to the Yes-Men attitude here. I know myself that constructive criticism is the best kind of response a designer can get. Personally I dont think of my work as precious so when it comes to people emailing me calling me a genius or brilliant, I offer a polite thank you, and leave it at that.
I'm a completely different person offline. Very few people know I design, and even fewer people know how well I design. I dont brag about it.
I don't think any of my designs are perfect. I get very bored with them in a short space of time. Take my website for example. It's now coming up to 6 months, I've had so many re-designs in those six months because I always see something wrong with my work or I get bored with it.
But yea, I think my designs are OK. Not the best in the world. But I do rely on comments to help me improve. It's still concidered childish to call someone big headed or an "Egotist Vulgarian" - Sticks and stones, realist. At least I can be positive about my own work, I leave all the negative stuff to you guys! I'm sure I'd get very far in the world by telling myself that I'm no good at design and I shouldn't even bother.

To be honest I can't see this ITV2 ident on the TV. The only thing that suits ITV2 is it's own identity i think. I liked the original logo they used, maybe they got rid of it too quickly?
A little note on the very first mocks: They look like they're in 14:9, so you roughly got the sizes right. Just add a bit more to the left and right next time.
Seriously, if you don't like what you see then bugger off elsewhere. As a community we here actually like seeing people's work and like commenting on what people do.
If you're all for people not showing work they've done then you'd better not post any more messages on the forums, as they are your creation too. And I can imagine you'll come back on this one with a point on how you don't think typing something on a forum is a creation, Well it is, so I ask you how do you draw the line?
Are you the sort of person who will walk around towns throwing paint cans at billboard adverts because they are showing off? Something tells me Mr. Realist is a sad designer who got sacked from a high payed job because he was too full of himself.

Very nice - though not too keen on the itv2 ident, the colour reminds me of the TTTV 40th Anniversary ident(which wasn't a bad ident, but the colour doesn't suit itv2, especially since itv2 are aiming for a younger audience) .
