Class TV did have continuity (and DOG), during the blobs era.

That's the first time I've seen a purple background version of the Class TV ident, I know once the colour coding per channel system was introduced in June 2002, the bug pattern backgrounds were changed to blue, (the colour of the CBBC Channel).
The earliest Class TV listing comes from November 4th, 2002 on Genome, but as it's missing CBeebies and CBBC Channel listings pre-October 26th, did Class TV launch with the channel or shortly after?
Genome was built by scanning the listings from the Radio Times, so its entirely plausible that the CBBC and CBeebies channel wasn't published until October 2002. or it wasn't published in the region(s) that have been scanned, although I'll be honest I'm not entirely sure how the regions things works for the Radio Times and national networks, but I'd have thought by 2002 if a listing appeared in one region it appeared in all of them.
"The digital CBBC channel launched on February 11th, 2002 - just in time for the winter half term. When half term was over, they started showing schools programmes during the day", so it looks like it started Feb 25th 2002 until, as previously discussed.

Yes, that is indeed correct, Radio Times did not publish listings for CBBC and CBeebies until the end of October 2002 - that week it rearranged its satellite/cable/digital listings to coincide with the launch of Freeview. Digital radio listings did not start until February 2003.

Yes, seems strange now when they often rearrange the listings to cover the most minor of channels. In the week of the launch of CBBC and CBeebies, the Radio Times did a cut out and keep page for the channel's listings, based on the idea they'd be showing pretty much the same shows every week.
I’ve a vague memory when they were asked why they weren’t carrying listings they said something along the lines of they didn’t want to carry CBBC and CBeebies listings because then they’d have to carry all the kids channels, which they weren’t at that point. A year or so earlier they had pledged to do fewer channels in more detail on the digital pages. The launch of Freeview gave them an excuse to rip that policy up and focus on the platform. As ITV Digital never got more than now and next, and BBCi Text only had that day’s listings, I can remember having to log into the BBCi website every so often to see what was actually going to be on those channels. Odd period.
Although they do indeed add new channels quickly now, they haven’t changed the overall design of the listings pages of RT for about a decade now.
I'll put this here, but has anyone else noted a dramatic increase in in-video advertising on YT in the last few weeks, primarily since the end of April. It's beginning to get more than irritating in my view.

I've been like that for quite a while, it's frustrating.
It's annoying. I don't mind ads at the beginning or end but 5 minutes in to the content is a bit too much, especially if there's already been one at the beginning.
