Know this doesn't so much fit as news coverage but have to say Radio 1 have got the tone just right when it comes to this. Greg James gave a brilliant minute or so link about race yesterday after the 8.30am Newsbeat bulletin and there was an incredibly raw, powerful few minutes at the start of Clara Amfo's show today about mental health, racism and blackness.
Jeffmister, Willz and what gave kudos

As the previously peaceful Black Lives Matter protests in Paris turn violent, here's live coverage from BFM TV:

Amazing bit of live TV. The reporter is outside some shops, the shop owners are trying to protect it from looters and call the police over...

Obama addressing the American people tonight at 10pm London time. One wonders how BBC News at Ten O’clock will handle this? Ten on BBC1 and NC simulcast with World perhaps? World, I presume, will be carrying it anyway.

Don't see why would BBC domestic newscast air this live.

There has been some UK protests in solidarity.

That may go into their decision making.

The Today Show’s “Window on the World” have been covered up:

Reportedly the windows used at Today are bullet proof and there are two layers I don’t blame them for taking the extra precaution.

And a MSNBC/NBC reporter had her jacket singed when a flash bang was shot at her (language so NSFW).

A visual representation of unconscious bias.

We've all done the double button-push. What surprises me is that, despite there being several seconds before John Boyega appeared on his screen, he didn't get his caption. Is there no "go back" option on the system?
