Mine would be

htvwales or itv1wales? - HTV Wales
Ruth Dodsworth or Ruth Wignall? - Neither
Marathon or Snickers? - Snickers
Opal Fruits or Starburst? - Opal Fruits
Olivio or Bertolli ? - Olivio
Cif or Jif? - Cif

On the last of this morning's GMTV bulletins Sally mentioned the Rugby world cup and she said "On this Channel" not ITV1 Wales so she obviously doesnt agree with the change to the name either.

Next Bulletin today is at 1.50pm, due to Rugby there is no Mid Morning bulletin.

So, well done for spotting that goof on their website, but did any of you do yourselves a favour and e-mail htv about it?

I did, that's how I know it works.

I really worry about you 'Seren'!

The point I was trying to illustrate was that the URL given out many times on HTV News didn't actually exist or forward to any particular page. Whereas that BBC example you have found does infact forward to the correct page!

PS Why would anyone want to email HTV about an alledged 'goof' on the BBC website?

Strange - very strange.

PS - great opening ceremony on the Rugby World Cup!

Great quality pictures on ITV1 considering they are all the way from Australia.

Has anyone else noticed the inferior picture quality on S4C? They are very dull and as if someone hasnt got their aerial pointed at the right transmitter!

Also Juliette is wearing THAT jacket that Lucy has been wearing all week!

I wonder if they both actually own a separate version of that jacket each?

Have you seen the new KFC advert? There's a caption onscreen which says something like:

"available in the HTV TV area"

Confused WTF

LOL, Owan. All the gay men that are on this forum and *you* go and notice two female presenters sharing the same jacket. I had a quick look at some of my captures and can't find any of Lucy wearing that jacket, though I have several of Juliet just since September.

Lucy clearly has a *much* wider range. Then again she has all Friday to go purchasing such items, no doubt from her extortionate wage demands ["do you know who I am?"]. I also noticed Tara completely dwarfs Jon, she must be fairly tall.

Not seen the KFC ad, but don't forget, Real Radio -- now available in Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire..
And S4C~ may have had grainy pictures but they do have a good title sequence for the RWC this year.

Has Radio Carmarthenshire launched yet? I'm a bit out of it living in Treforest (where it's cold, wet and foggy 24/7!).

If any of you are in the Cardiff area near M4 junctions 33-30, you'll be able to pick up GTFM which I'll be getting involved with soon I think. Depends whether I can regain my welsh accent... Smile

Not until 2004 apparently, www.radiocarmarthenshire.co.uk . But I'm sure you don't expect me to have anything to do with it.

We'll bring you the best music from the 1960's to today, fun competitions and essential Carmarthenshire information and Tommo's Breakfast Show! 97.1 Radio Carmarthenshire will be unlike any other station you can hear at the moment because we'll be devoted to the county and not beamed in from Swansea, Cardiff or London. That makes a refreshing change doesn't it?!

'Essential Carmarthenshire information'? I really dread to think. And just how <local radio for local people> does that sound! In other words, "We don't want talk of change coming in from the big smoke. We'll have no trouble here.. We didn't burn him...!"

Doesn't say what town it'll be from. It only says Narberth at the minute.

And undo all that hard work?! Lucy and myself shake our heads at you.

Owan, now I come to think of it that jacket of Juliet's does look like the one Lucy wears - maybe she lent it to her or perhaps the producers tell them what to wear - maybe someone else will wear Catharine's brooch one day!

Ive a feeling it might be a Juliet weekend on HTV News!

Narberth is in Pembrokeshire! Laughing

I really do hate Carmarthenshire with a passion. The people are all so small minded. However, the people in Rhondda Cynon Taf are the nicest people you could meet. Really nice people.

Where is it you're living now?

Treforest?

Where EXACTLY is that, then?

Turn off at J32 on the M4, and head towards Pontypridd. After about 5 miles down the dual-carriageway you'll see a big white building with a dome on top and that's the University G-block. It's in Treforest, but Treforest and Pontypridd are right next to each other.

Thankfully I live in a decent house on the edge of it. Wink

"OWAN"-- (that's a good abreviation used by someone here!)-- commented recently about a "an finally" link by Jamie on Wales Today to Derek the weatherman, - the link contained a throwaway remark about "fags"---- Well!!, just because Derek was seen leaving the Golden Cross under a cloud recently...(under a cloud,-get it?).. there is no need for such flipant remarks on the program.

And for "A MAJOR SET UP"--- are your views about Carmarthenshire people perhaps based on a random sample of one ????
