STV News at Six will be from Aberdeen studios all this week.

I see STV News is in HD currently. Is that because it’s coming from Aberdeen?

Glasgow is also HD. The cameras got upgraded not that long ago.

Am I correct in saying the output isn’t in HD though?

I wonder if they will move the programme back to Glasgow or Edinburgh now that Aberdeen has been put into a mini lockdown.

I thought the same because I can’t imagine them wanting to send central presenters up there but the north presenters probably wouldn’t come down here so maybe they’ll just use Norman and Andrea. Or move it to Glasgow and just use presenters from the central area.

Presumably it was meant to be an Aberdeen based team doing the programme all week (otherwise why else would they have gone there) and considering the absolute number of infections is extremely low and the restrictions are minimal it'll stay in Aberdeen for the week as planned.
