Mind you at the rate Boris is not answering questions the press conference might be over in record time.

This could well be finished in the next 13 minutes to be fair. After 4 hours of News on BBC One they probably want to get it off the second the conference finishes.

Professor Yvonne Doyle has picked a good day, as none of the questions are for her.

7:40 Garden Rescue
8:10 Would I Lie to You

Do dropping one programme and adding two never in the schedule, maximum mess as I predicted

Right move in the circumstances. It simply isn't appropriate for kids content to air past 9pm so realistically Paddington had to go.

Think parents would get a bit of a shock if they left the TV with Normal People after Paddington!

That is the quickest press conference so far.

If Cummings had been on time, they could have had both conferences done and dusted by 6.30pm.

Have to say a real tour de force by Beth Rigby today. She's been outstanding in both briefings today.

And a word too for Gary Gibbon and others who did a great job during the Cummings trainwreck of a briefing.

Well if we didn't have EPGs nobody would have known that Paddington 2 was ever scheduled at all, from that continuity announcement.

Very odd that there was no apology, or mention that it would be shown at a later date. It seems the continuity is as bad as the idents.

It was spun as if squeezing in Garden Rescue was a rare treat, it’s on every day!

They were just using their discretion and judgement, doing what anyone would do in similar situation. Very Happy
