Anyone else having sound/picture sync issues on the Sky News feed of today’s Hancock presser?

Didn't notice anything other than slightly shaky camerawork... what were you experiencing?

Sound and vision out of sync up until the point Matt Hancock threw to the first slide. When he came back into vision, the problem seemed to have been corrected. And yes, some shaky camera work at the beginning too.

Can't Piers Morgan get on this press rota? Then he could question the government. Or is it by invite only?

Would love to see the fear strike into the minister chairing the briefing when they see Piers is next to ask a question...

Well they wouldn't have to answer any question as he would just rant on like a drunken pub bore. But those well balanced folk on twitter would love it Rolling Eyes

Either that or all the branded news Channel progammes (apart from Victoria Derbyshire) are all coming back in the first week of June (althrough they would need to shorten Afternoon Live to accommodate the Press Briefings if they are still going.)

On the News Channel/World simulcasts, they’ve changed their opening from “we have all the latest Coronavirus developments for you here in the UK and globally” to “stay with us for all the developments here in the UK and globally”. Further easing of things going back to normal?

Whose actually absent at the minute?
While I don't expect that that question can be answered fully the only ones who are notably absent as far as I can tell are Ros Atkins, Phillipa Thomas, Geeta Guru-Murthy and Julian Worricker, so at least on the presenter front they don't seem to be particularly struggling to fill the rota and if absence in other roles is at a similar level they probably do have the resources to begin to reduce the amount of extra simulcasting (albeit not to normal levels).
