With regards to the BBC, I wonder where the money comes from to pay these repeat fees - are they paid out of the licence fee money or from the BBC commercial subsidiary revenue through BBC Studios?

If the BBC airs a repeat then it would cover all the costs of doing that.

Would it be more costly to repeat a classic episode of Corrie than to make and show a new one?

Given that the repeat fees are so high to encourage new production rather than showing repeats, has there been any concession in this era when new production is difficult?

Perhaps to encourage repeats of relatively recent stuff rather than classics so it's actors who are currently unable to work who get repeat fees rather than the retired?

A private deal has been done with the current actors on Corrie but we won't know what that entails.

Is Hugh Bonneville alright? He does not look very well in that sketch. I hope he is fine, he does look unwell.

I'm not sure what sort of answer you're expecting to that but wouldn't be right to speculate either way.

Emmerdale is back filming six lockdown episodes with pairs of characters on set in two handers, pretty much all featuring the Dingles. Seems the best way to bridge the gap between fiction and reality with episodes effectively filling in the gaps of the last few weeks.

This suggests that ITV are going to run the second American Masked Singer series in Saturday Prime Time soon.

I'm guessing they'll be able to get those ready in time to prevent the show going off air?

Not sure how well that’ll go down. Very few of the contestants are household names here.
