Not really sure where to post this, but did anyone notice the 40's BBC logo being used instead of the blocks at the start of the "Remembering Victory" programme?
That programme was made five years ago for the 70th anniversary, and noticeably had quite a high proportion of celebrity interviewees who are no longer with us.

I thought it was new (but using archive interviews) because of a 2020 copyright date. Probably just reversioned then.
BBC One are showing an episode of Dad's Army tonight at 7pm. Odd choice to go with for prime time Saturday Night but it proceeds the Churchill movie afterwards and is apt considering yesterday's festivities.
ITV aired the Dad's Army movie last night with the Queen's speech in the middle. So maybe that's why the BBC are wanting to air this episode to show off the original.
I couldn't remember the last time Dad's Army had been shown on BBC One (It frequently gets aired on BBC Two), Genome confirms that this will be the first episode of Dad's Army on BBC One since a Sunday afternoon in 2004.

The episode is question is The Deadly Attachment which makes sense since it has the iconic ‘Don’t Tell Him, Pike!’
It’s definitely a one-off for VE Day Weekend as it’s back on BBC Two next weekend.
