Yup. This is Oneness series 2.

Yes, I'm sure they'll be back before we know it. Forest seems to have disappeared too, the PIF is now introduced by Tea Breaks. Fairly obvious I guess now they're all suitable.

Interesting to see what they've come up with the four we don't yet know about.

Forest was about the only Oneness ident I actually liked. Even though it was designed for bad news there is something quite calming about it.

If BBC can't bring back the Circles, they should bring it back in a very subtle form. Bringing back the 3-note jingle for the era would be nice.

Any music would be a start.

An idea for the current set of idents, pictures of globes in people's homes, that would be a nice nod for pres fans and nostalgia in general.

And if they don't, it would be a good idea for a mock.

Sorry, but you didn't need to quote yourself so many times. Just because people wouldn't see your comment straight away doesn't mean they wouldn't read it. You'd be better off editing your post to further state your point, rather than cluttering the thread with the same points you are making, but with a different sentence.

I agree. Even just a unifying jingle might make Oneness slightly better.

Perhaps they are going for a 1991 globe style ident, no noise or soundtrack really. I agree though, if we are going to see these home video style lockdown idents for a while, they need something to elevate them, perhaps a tune or note sequence and a blurred background not lots of black space.

Channel 4 have also done this by subtly bringing back Fourscore in the 2017 idents. BBC, TAKE SOME NOTES.
