Also I just finished watching The Demon Headmaster on iPlayer. It was AMAZING! (BTW I know i'm very late)

ITV’s is filled with imported shows, mostly cartoons, while CBBC has more British content and balances between animation and live-action perfectly

Exactly! Also I kinda feel like CBBC is aimed slightly more towards a older audience than CITV. ITV confirmed that 6-12 yr olds but I believe their main audience are 4-9 yr olds.

To be fair the Beeb also has CBeebies so they don’t have to aim as wide, but yeah they care a lot more than ITV.

Then again, ITV do have LittleBe but to be honest they only have it running 3 hours a day so they can't really do a lot.

But it looks like ITV are trying at least a little bit with their new young teen news show, The Rundown which I kinda feel like it's ITV taking a dig at Newsround but the only difference is that it's broadcast on social media opposed to television.

I just realized that the CBBC Summer Social will probably be canceled
iloveTV1 and Rexogamer gave kudos

TBH ITVBe is kinda obscure as well.

I wouldn’t really say it’s to combat Newsround because if so they’d broadcast it on CITV and probably give it a different a name/tone.

Quite an impressive selection of new programmes and shorts on CBBC and CBeebies for children stuck at home announced earlier:

The return of Boogie Beebies will please a certain (former?) member of this forum Laughing

There's a Cbeebies Bedtime Story on iPlayer read by Tom Hardy which is presumably one made for the current situation. It has a lovely ending reassuring the kids that they will soon be able to give hugs to those they currently can't.

The people commenting on their Facebook post about it missed that nuance, it's all full of mothers cooing over the person reading Rolling Eyes

A new series of Sooty has been commissioned for LittleBe at least
