Nope. 8am hour has the highest numbers. Drops off between 9 & 10. GMB 0.9m is the average across 3 hours and at 6am the total available audience is much smaller.

It's finally happened. BBC Breakfast is now number 2 breakfast show. Good Morning Britain is now number one, with 30% share yesterday, according to Piers Morgan.

That wasn't quite what he said, was it?

I would bet BBC Breakfast was still ahead in terms of share and ratings.

Peaking at 30% share doesn’t mean it was at 30% share for the full three hours.

I'm guessing that GMB had a 30% share in one 5 or 15 minute period...

Believe me - if GMB overtook Breakfast - it would be making headlines in the media press and on 'Media Twitter'. It hasn't...

LOL! Never has been. It has been modified a couple of times because viewers complained they could see the same thing happening, and in one case the gremlins really had fun!
