Alex Beresford with the West Country Weather from home yesterday evening with a new ITV Weather sting, almost seemed as a filler.

Isn't that sting used if there's no sponsor?

The sting went out in the HTV West area, does that mean Westcountry still have a sponsor for the weather?

Presumably with leisure travel disallowed, and the suspension of the ToC's franchises, Great Western have no great interest in sponsoring the weather.

Perhaps they need to find a bank that actually wants to make government-backed loans?

Must have been a reference to something earlier in the programme as most Spotlight viewers wouldn't have had a clue what was going on otherwise
