The 1990 World Cup game between West Germany and England on the Red Button and iPlayer at the moment. Including the Grandstand build-up.

NBC's Saturday Night Live At Home is doing a "Sky Sport Report" where there are stupid competitions such as which computer will boot up first, what match will burn up first, which popcorn kernal pops first, and what banana ripens first. It looked like they used genuine graphics aside from the ticker for these stupid competitions mocking the lack of sports.

Is this airing in place of SNL or is it an online thing? We don't appear to be getting SNL on Sky Comedy this week. They don't usually schedule it when NBC shows a rerun.

The broadcast was on air, surprising decent for people doing the show where most were recorded with the players webcam. One or two looked like they used a DSLR camera.

Clearly not the genuine deal, but they are surprisingly close for a spoof. Possible that NBC has some of Sky's graphics assets available to them given their shared sports programming.

A previous 'Sky Sports' sketch from last year... https://streamable.com/9khur (seems to no longer be on YouTube)

They’ve been known to ask for files and music from their sister properties. Graphics maybe difficult due to the various systems used.

I wonder why Sky aren't showing them then, unless they have given up already? They only began airing it at the start of February.

Well, it was billed as a special ("Saturday Night Live at Home") rather than a regular episode, so perhaps issues with getting permission to show it? I see a couple of people have tweeted @SkyHelpTeam on Twitter about it.

It’s available in their on demand selection - so I wonder if they have or if there’s just some other reason.

There are some good sketches in it.

The only one I can find is the 25 January (US air date) episode.

It’s there - promise! It’s Series is called ‘Other’ and it’s labelled ‘Home Edition’. It has a generic episode description, no mention of Tom Hanks or the special nature of the show.

The snooker matches to be reshown instead of the World Snooker Championships have been revealed, including the classic 1985 final. They'll be shown in 2 hour slots on BBC2 each afternoon.

I hope they use the old BBC Sport Globe symbol at the start of the programme and the original BBC Snooker theme tune!!

1985? Isn't that before they started using the BBC Sport globe logo?

It might make it interesting if the players have to play 2 meters apart from each other.

Rugby's in a trickier spot here than football. Footballers can *try* to avoid contact!

Some mutterings of PL Matches at Wembley, round the clock almost, the pitch will be ruined but in these circumstances KOs at 1200 1430, 1700 and 1930 every day behind closed doors for as long as it takes, to clear the season. Teams playing every three-four days, so some slots will be vacant, Bonkers will take around 30 days to complete, players will be knackered too. Championship under the same conditions at St Georges Park.

Bonkers as you say - might just about work across two venues, and with three games a day rather than two. I don't think it's the product anyone wants though and surely better to strike a deal with Sky and BT to give them extra games in the forthcoming seasons if this one can't be concluded - although of course you're losing 9-10 1st to 5th choice games and gaining multiple 6th choice games in that scenario. Of course though nothing next season is guaranteed at all either at the moment.

So many mutterings though - Sportbible have awarded and denied Liverpool the title at least twice a day since the outbreak began. I guess like with everything though you really can't plan until you have some dates to plan too and an idea of what everyone else is doing, and the leagues here ultimately still have to fit around the plans of UEFA and the FA Cup.
