The Mash Report looked a lot better this week. Nish and Ellie had broadcast quality cameras at home.

Same for HIGNFY. One of the panel mentioned there were two blokes in a van outside her house who set it up.

I imagine they had some sort of production help last week, they wouldn't just be able to let those involved get on with it by themselves. Do the whole recording and find out that they've an hour of Paul Merton's ceiling

Cbeebies have announced that their birthdays will be YouTube based with people sending in photos of cards online:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/grownups/how-to-send-birthday-cards-to-cbeebies-during-lockdown

However their last recording was for the 12th April and they can't access any cards received after then. So if the kid's birthday is between the 12th and the 27th April they'll out of luck

10th April, not 12th. Though this part is confusing.
Quote:
If you previously posted a card in, we’re afraid we have no access to these. The last TV recording was for 10th April. Hopefully you have a photo of it you can upload.
That implies they'll accept photos of cards for 11th April onwards, yet they're saying they aren't starting until 27th April? With the request for two weeks in advance, there's no point anyone sending a photo of an already sent card - by the time they start airing, a fortnight will already have passed, so the cards already sent in should be for the period they're not airing them.

Yeah got confused by a commenter on Twitter who said the 12th!

The start of this is 2 weeks away but they normally ask for cards at least 4 weeks in advance so there will be some cards in their PO Box for the beginning of May onwards, so they'll have to resend electronically

Does seem a bit odd to have to wait till the 27th if they're just going onto social media, I suppose they'll just do a batch at one go

Saturday Night Live was on last night and it was nice of them to do a new title sequence based on the normal one, but with them all at home. Some decent post production done on it too.

(30secs in)

As mentioned in the sport thread, there was also a spoof Sky Sport(s) sketch with the lack of sporting news.
UKnews and Night Thoughts gave kudos

That's a lovely sequence. Hanks' comic timing is just great, too.

The Middle Age Ninja Turtles sketch was great too. Complete with 90s style VHS quality animation.

Dragons' Den tonight was the episode that was meant to go out two weeks ago. The originally-previewed item about an air purifier that kills viruses was conspicuous by its absence. I'm not convinced Evan Davis' piece to camera at the end was filmed in the Den either.

There appears to be two S17 E14s on iPlayer.

BBC One have today launched Daily Kitchen Live which I assumed would have been via links from their homes because of the current climate, however it appears that Matt Tebbutt is hosting from the usual Saturday Kitchen studio in London.
Matt did a link up on Friday from his home in Monmouthshire in Wales. What is considered necessary travel for a TV Broadcast?
