Good weekend to you bc.

Do you happen to know what became of notnormal and cue dot?
They, along with others, seem to have perished at some point.

And I think likening Jason Mohammed to a Riddler or whatever it was is a touch harsh, unless that's an ongoing dispute between him and WoS, I don't avail myself of that newspaper. I think he does well as <male presenter #2> I must admit I would like a two-presenter thing going on with WT, Sara/Jason, Lord Owen/Claire and so on.

Sounds expensive though. I bet Sara's rider of demands alone is as long as your arm.

Could anyone tell me what has happened to the regional programmes that ITV1Wales used to broadcast?

Sunday used to be full of regional programmes (like Birdwatcher) with some scattered throughout the week at 19:30 and 22:30 - 23:30 but i've just looked through my free tv listing guides and cannot see many/any regional programmes listed.

Have I received the wrong addition of tv guide?

Owan I doubt you have the wrong addition of the tv guide Wink LOL

ITV have cut down on the amount of regional slots (although until quite recently HTV did use at least 3 opt outs of the network)

This weeks regional progs are;

Sunday - 12.35pm Waterfront, 2.05pm Soccer Sunday, 5.30pm New Series Your Century

Thursday - 7.30pm The Ferret, 11.30pm Karaoke Queen

Hmm - Quite poor this week really considering they are meant to have 10 hours a week of regional programming (although this 10 hrs figure includes regional news)

I didnt see the bulletin at 5.05pm yesterday so missed Andrew giving the sports results Very Happy

You had to say it didn't you, you just HAD to say it. You make me sick.

At least Nicola is back, perhaps the only person working for HTV and the BBC. It's off again next week anyway. Looks like Jacob's Ladder's gone too -- that just never worked for me I'm afraid, it just wasn't washing. The content had a hard job interesting me in the first place.

Caerphilly today, in the southeast there. Then it's Machynlleth, Tonypandy, Chepstow, Ruthin and Pontardawe. Isn't Tom Jones from Tonypandy?

The pages, http://www.htvwales.com/yourcentury, still has a lot of the previous towns on a map there -- distinct absence of many towns from the Bad Place, mercifully just the one. Though Ammanford is hiding in there too if you *really* dare..

I think the movement of the News at When to 2230 fulfils the promise in the charter for regions and nations [a few pages back], which promises to move a certain amount of regional programming to primetime. So all that post-news late evening regional tat will get moved.

Hmmm. I'll resist a comment there. They've not done Swansea either by the looks, though just about everywhere else has been -- even stinky Port Talbot.

I'd never heard of that mining disaster in Caerphilly just before WWI, hundreds died! The anniversary of Aberfan isn't far away either, HTV usually mark that in some way. Even though they didn't exist back then, they have a page about it on their site.

Wasn't that guy on Pop Idol from near Newport, the grumpy one? His accent was superb.

*still can't believe Newport's a city*

Believe it or not, there has been a Your Century on Newport, complete with grating accents. They've just decided not to put it on the website.

Oh, and less of your cheek! Us Newportonians are as 'aaaaaard as nails.*

I think you will find that I was correct with my first post.

Most weekend newspapers come with a magazine, sports section and also a TV guide - as I described in my previous post. These extra magazines and sections are 'additions' to the main newspaper and so you are just trying to find fault with every post I make as you have got nothing else better to do.

Why didn't you post your Scrum V concern in this thread?
