Interestingly the first 6 jazzy episodes had the full length end credits, but we're back on the usual length credits for today's episodes. Not sure if the full length version was ever heard again after this, we'll have to see. Certainly none of the other jazzy era episodes I've seen ha had them.

Might have continued on the omnibus.

Hehe, I saw this vox pop but couldn't place where I knew him from... It was Sanjay from EastEnders!

Actress Jill Gascoine has died, star of The Gentle Touch, The Onedin Line and C.A.T.S. Eyes.

She was the original Glenda Mitchell in EastEnders in 2009, however she decided to leave the soap just one day into filming. She cited lacking the right experience to be in a big continuing drama. The role was then given to Glynis Barber.

Just heard. Very sad news. I believe she was suffering from cancer.

Wasn’t too long after that when she revealed she had Alzheimer’s disease, which even if not fully known at the time may have contributed to her decision to leave the show.

Alzheimers? I thought it was cancer. Thanks for the correction.

Even at London prices not sure it would have cost £87m to build the actual properties for real.

Also seems Albert Square is more of a rectangle.

£87m isn't just the set, it's upgrading BBC Elstree as a whole.
