Strange backdrop, do they want us to be able to see the newsroom or not?

It's a programme specifically about Coronavirus, so I'm not sure why they would need the fake newsroom background. It's CSO anyway.

I like the desk. The only thing I wish is that the presenters would be able to pull their chairs into the desk.

Didn’t he leave a year or so ago and then came back? Maybe he just went freelance and now his freelance contract is up?

That's rather difficult if the desk is lower than knee level or the arms on your chair.

Presenters would be able to pull their chairs under, if the desk had been designed to function as a desk. They’re tables, and I for one have never been a fan. Anyone tall with long legs looks very uncomfortable, Fred Dinenage is all lap!

Indeed, his new Twitter handle is @AlStewartOBE whilst the account isn’t yet verified the tweets seem to be genuine as his family have been tweeting the account.
