My company is using Teams. We had a staff meeting of 80 this afternoon. I was astounded at the quality. It was better than the Gov meeting

The speech last night is estimated to have been watched by 27 million people.

Perhaps it would be appropriate for ITV regional news to drop dual presentation, what with some co hosts themselves off air and have the fill in instead reporting. Thus reducing the regional news magazine approach with the newsier circumstances.
Brekkie and Ben Shatliff gave kudos

...ITV tweet snipped...

Ugh, that felt over-written.

Yes I thought it was very poor when watching it live last night. Awful scripts on News at 10.

I thought it read more like a Government statement than something from a news broadcaster.

Also "a price that can only be worth paying" sounds like they had something slightly different in mind but couldn't quite work out how to word it.

That was kind of what I was suggesting on top of shorter news updates.

That could work for both BBC and ITV.

As was suggested over the weekend a lot of what is on the national news is Also on regional news too.

Have updates during Breakfast and Good Morning Britain. Then ten minutes during One, Six and Ten.

Yesterday, Anglia had fill in Tanya Mercer at the desk and Jonathan Wills stood by the plasma with Becky Jago self isolating.

Central has become single-headed today. It also seems to be pan-regional for the main 6pm programme only.
