Yes,
Gadi Schwartz an NBC News reporter anchored NBC News Now from his home yesterday.
Also I know the BBC is dumping branded shows so their teams can work together on joint coverage. I’d like to know why The Briefing isn’t branded still? The show is essentially the same format as it was beforehand. I get them keeping World News America due to contractual requirements but for some reason OS still exists.
That's Vlad from CBSN, right?

Exactly. We're not in an essential trade but there are essentials to tie up before lockdown such as payroll, invoicing, talking to clients and letters to staff plus finalising arrangements for home working, which for us hasn't been as easy as it is for others.
In the US at least the Department of Homeland Security and federal law deems people that work for and maintain telecommunication systems are important. I’d assume the likes of Virgin and BT (only Internet providers I could think of) would be considered essential as their networks support television, internet and voice. Internet is an essential bit these days with all the telecommuting, online schooling and provides support to the countries morale (streaming). Where as Sky is a one way service but you could also argue that it is providing a way to keep the country informed and entertained.
I wish just one reporter asks the question, many friends and family are asking tonight, what are the limits of essential work. Key workers, as listed a few days ago, or something wider?

This from Rory C-J is a good explainer of what Openreach, the dept within BT responsible for connecting customers to their service providers (for overseas readers) are implementing.

Can’t be as bad as MSNBC on FaceTime, something kept messing up so they had to shrink the screen a bit (it was full screen, then maximized but you could see the top menu bars) but when it wasn’t on full screen the persons phone number was visible
Skype handles are easy to change phone numbers are a pain and you usually have to go to the store or your company. Then send out a message of a new number.
Someone totally screwed up there broadcasting the Skype handles of various journalists including Laura K!

Apparently (according to Reeta C) a Zoom conference.
Certainly not up to the slickness you see in movies and dramas!

It happened a few times, needs testing a bit more.
Have to say though, in terms of quality - Zoom appears far superior than Skype or Cisco Webex that CNN are using.
