You can do it now over the phone, but the option goes online tomorrow morning. Sky pretty much emailed this out yesterday to Sky subscribers. Nothing has been mentioned on how this effects those watching on Virgin Media, BT and TalkTalk.
Thanks for that, that email got overlooked amongst every other company I've ever bought anything from emailing to tell me what they are doing about the virus
Apparently Sky Sports are launching a pause subscription - option tomorrow ..... More details available in the morning.

If you were hoping to see a repeat of either Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest or the Classic Tetris World Championship, then it turns out they were already shown on Monday. That's not to say they won't get rolled out again...
A repeat of a hot dog eating contest. Repeats for the viewers. Repeats of a different kind for the contestants!

The players income isn't the issue here. The bigger thing is this would have been good content for the over 70s housebound for 3 months. for a couple of weeks ago. However as all theatres are now shut I guess it would have had to be cancelled anyway.
BBC Sport is reporting that the World Snooker Championship in Sheffield is being postponed which could harm the players income for entering other tournaments when the new season is due to begin later on in the year.

And now suspended until the end of May. The last match of the weekend is playing out now.
There are two A-League games scheduled tomorrow (morning UK time) - I wouldn't hold my breath!

If I write here that the AFL kicks off shortly (behind closed doors), will that jinx it?

All rugby union except the Premiership has been cancelled.

Since Saracens are already relegated due to salary cap breaches, they should just send them down, promote Championship leaders Newcastle Falcons in their place (they have an 18 point lead and a perfect record for the season, won every game), and leave it at that.

The sensible thing to do. I do hope we don't see loads of legal action after all this is done - a waste of everyone's resources.
I do think it is time now for the FA to scrap the FA Cup for this year and EFL axe the play offs - but although the latter ends the post season stage by 5 matches guess teams 4th to 6th in Championship would want to challenge the it if 3rd went up automatically.

Olympics latest
I understand the IOC is moving quickly towards a postponement of Tokyo 2020 but will give themselves four weeks breathing space to watch how virus spreads and discuss options. Could be moved to later this year or next year.

In 4 weeks though we will have a much better idea of the timescales we're looking at for being able to put on that scale of event again. There's no point doing an FA style putting it off for a really short timescale and then adjusting as needs be. I'd agree though that the decision to postpone needs to be announced, when they're moving it to can wait until they're sure of a date.
4 weeks. They still don't get it. Even if they don't postpone they need to set some alternative dates just in case.
