No 22:30 South Today Oxford bulletin, pan-regional from Southampton instead. First regional casualty of coronavirus?

Which version did you get, North (nondescript city view that is actually Leeds) or South (Humber Bridge)?

I think the Six went a few minutes over and Lord Levy finished a few minutes past 7.
Still meant another dire feature for the None Show got dropped.
Yes the 6 did go over 7pm, I missed the start of the 7pm bulletin on BBC News because I was watching the Midlands Today weather forecast.
BBC News at Ten going well past it's scheduled 10.30 finish.

Regarding this, I’ve just watched on +1
They obviously had good notice, as they used the generic background, Duncan apologised at length to Central viewers on three separate occasions within the bulletin, and they even included a bit about Bob Warman self-isolating. I think Duncan thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity.

To be fair, the Warman story was actually relevant to both regions - he was the presenter on Calendar's experimental breakfast programme before TV-am launched.

One thing I don’t understand is that all the local CBC stations receive their own microwave signals, CNG and downlink satellites. The only thing the CBC Toronto Broadcasting Centre is used for is master control, encoding the stream to transmitters / headends and inserting ads. Normally it shouldn’t be a problem unless there operators cannot handle daily unscheduled program changes.
