At least it’s the excellent Briana Keilar who’s on CNNUS .
Also,
the Cuomo promo advert on CNN is one of the most overdramatic ones in CNN history - so overblown
.
And we're into the US simulcast even earlier than was billed. To give them credit, the coverage is purely on coronavirus but it's understandly U.S based which really doesn't suffice for World viewers.
It is a shorter simulcaster than usual mind as there are coronavirus bulletins from the usual time CNNI coverage begins from US primetime (though it's not clear if the first few bulletins are US or International led).
I do wonder when primary results come in what the balance will be on CNNUS between coronavirus and the political results - CNN's natural tendancy is to focus on the latter but the former really should be dominating.

He argued on air with his brother on air last night - who I understand is not popular as Governor of New York State.
This video of brothers Andrew and Chris Cuomo fighting ON AIR about their mom’s favorite child, calling their parents, and breaking curfew growing up is better than anything Shakespeare ever wrote pic.twitter.com/h7KF6pOdun

What did I just watch?
If that's meant to be funny, it really wasn't. If that's meant to be serious news, again it really wasn't. It's hard to tell as the content sounds jokey but Chris sounds rather angry and has a face like thunder at quite a few points. It ends up a rather awkward watch,
When the news is as serious as it is currently, spending time on-air bickering with your brother is just beyond pathetic. Makes the advert for his show (which tries to make Cuomo's show look like Paxman Newsnight on steroids) look even more ridiculous.
Of course it's not the first time family have appeared together on CNN, the Malveauxs used to be on together sometimes in the Situation Room..
Whatever happened to Suzanne Malveaux anyway - she always seemed one of the better Domestic anchors and to have a bit of gravitas about her. Give me her any day over the likes of Boulduan, Cuomo and a few others who act like they are the news.
I notice CNNI have a simulcast of the US votes tonight in place of the usual YWT slot.
Even if the simulcast does end up covering coronavirus, surely surely that simulcast needs dropped?! Coronavirus is a global story and understandably CNNUS will focus mainly on America.
True but also the argument that viewers around the world will switch to CNN for an American story. I think if a British equivalent was happening here BBC World viewers would expect them to cover it.
Cyril did Instagram live thing and he's in self isolation as well. He said YWT is off for the moment and that there were just 3 people in London newsroom last night.

Is anyone surprised though?! Coronavirus was covered but only from a US view as far as I saw and only to talk about Trump!
Goodness Julia Chatterley on QMB just now was a quite solemn, sobering watch. Think I need a drink after watching it.
That's not to say it wasn't a good watch but it really was quite stark/blunt in setting out what the situation with the global economy is.

CNN at least for now leaning heavily on the Domestic channel - other than the Business shows (sensible to keep to explore the financial side to the story), Amanpour and Connect The World it’s largely US programmes.
Your World Today, The Brief, Hala’s show all not on today’s schedule and it seems they’ll be simulcasting all the way through US primetime.
Have to say the London Newsroom did look rather sparse from some of the images posted to Instagram.
And after QMB last night I might give CNN’s business shows a wide berth for a bit - it was an incredibly depressing watch.
