They've put out a list of what will be available at launch:

It's missing a few shows which are on the US version, which is annoying... a couple of those were a fair amount of what I was looking forward to watching! Hopefully they turn up quickly.

Is it exclusively Disney (and Fox) shows and films in the US or have they bought third party content too?

I don't think there's any third party content, yet, anyway.

Looks like I could have wasted that £30 on that Roku box, the Disney+ app may be heading to Virgin:

Your £30 is probably a wise investment for now James:

No mention of Now TV on there, I nearly bought a Now TV stick as well, as they were cheaper than the Rokus, Fire Sticks and Chromecasts. But looking into it and realising they're just cut down Rokus, with access to only a limited number of the apps, possibly going by this picture not including the Disney+ one, at launch anyway.

Probably doesn't have access to the US ABC and CBS news apps which I've been watching a far bit of over the last week too!

I believe Disney+ is coming to NOW TV, but not straight away. You’re best spending the extra £10 for the Roku, we have one of the £30 sticks for our bedroom TV and it does the job perfectly. As you say you get the extra Apps you don’t get on NOW TV, notably Apple TV+, Prime Video and Disney+.

No delay in Italy and apparently no other EU country outside of France

We'll just get a "lower PQ" service, in order not to create a overload
