With the 35th Anniversary week starting on Monday. Throughout the week, as all the episode are set at night - there will be 'night time' opening titles and closing credits.

Has there ever been?

Wasn't there an episode that ended with a shot from above as two characters went into their respective houses at night, and the viewpoint pulled all the way up and faded into the end credits? That might have stuck with a night theme through the credits, or might have faded into the usual day ones, but I can't find it anywhere.

There's this from the Who Killed Lucy flashback episode:

though again, I can't find a video of it.

No, it faded into the normal version, which was a shame considering how great the effect was.

I'm pretty sure the flashback episode did have nighttime credits.
