I don’t think if Katty was trouble off screen she would be booked so frequently and reliably for almost two years as guest contributors and later contributor roles on NBC properties.

I don't think there's too much correlation between someone's personality and off screen behaviour, and their 'bookability' as a guest or contributor

There have been instances here in the US where if a guest/contributor is mean/unreliable/diva/hard to work with they generally won’t be booked again. And often they’ll be leaked to the media about what happened.

...unless you're a Fox News contributor, in which case it's pretty much standard operating proceedure.

Perhaps not so much on shows with a dedicated guest booker, or "Celebrity Producer" as they seem to be called these days, but on smaller productions where the same member of the production team who booked the guest is directly involved on the day, it's more likely that somebody who was a pain in the arse to work with won't be asked back. I've certainly heard of radio shows choosing not to book somebody who was difficult off-air last time they were on.

If a contributor hard work, or difficult, to produce, they won't be a regular booking.

Some people must just be obnoxious when on screen then 😎

I'm sure some will be, but I'm not sure where you're going with this?

I look forward to never seeing Grace Blakeley and Nihal Arthanayake as guests on TV again then ?

Grace Blakeley shouldn't be booked since Labour's dramatic loss. She's a middle class far left cultist who doesn't have the reality of what it's really like for working class people considering she can be a socialist and never be affected by their own policies.

The same goes for Ash Sarkar, Owen Jones and similar who now represent a wing of Labour that will be back in the fringe if any of the Labour leader candidates go through who isn't Rebecca Long-Bailey who is considered to be the continuity candidate.

I don’t know who they are, but they sound like the type of people that would be booked solely for sake of good TV and shows impartiality. Even if they are far to the left or right they still can be booked provided they are good to the people around them. And as long as they don’t treat the crew like crap.

They were in a discussion involving Iain Dale on GMTV yesterday, and simply talked all over him, so he (quite rightly in my opinion) marched out of the studio. I couldn't care less what their politics are, or whether they think the moon is made of cheese, they came over in the You Tube clip as a pair of obnoxious idiots. First I've knowingly seen of them, hopefully the last. Presenters Ben Shepherd and Kate Garraway were useless too moderating the discussion, so all in all a car crash of an event
