Trace Urban is currently showing Trace Vault programming, while Trace Vault is showing music programming.
Kenan and Kel is on Trace Urban right now, followed by Moesha at 8pm, with Moesha again at 7am.
It's the same every day this week.
I'm not sure if this is intentional, but wouldn't be surprised if it isn't, given the mess their listings have been in since the Trace channels started.

Just read a bit about this over on DS and I don't believe it's unintentional. Trace Urban's ratings aren't great so perhaps the icnlusion of programming will give it a bit of a boost.

All this will achieve is the shifting of viewers from Trace Vault to Trace Urban, and can’t really see them gaining many extra viewers overall.
Also, with Kenan and Kel on Trace Vault from 6-7pm and Trace Urban from 7-8pm, they could actually lose viewers if they don’t switch over, especially if there isn’t any on-screen reference to this.

I hate to say it but in this day and age of channel hopping, and the shows finishing at approximately xx:55 / 56 then a quick tap of the botton on your Sky remote will tell you that K&K will be on Vault and Urban etc etc
Even back in Sony's days of "The Vault" there was never any IPP telling you what show(s) were coming up next or an ECP either. At least the likes of 4Music tell you via an IPP what's coming up next.

Assuming that the EPG is showing the correct listings of course!
Trace Urban is currently showing Sister Sister, and Trace Vault is currently showing Moesha, and it's a similar situation this evening, when Trace Urban will be showing Moesha and Trace Vault will be showing Kenan and Kel.
They're not doing themselves any favours with this scheduling, as the 2 channels are competing for viewers, and there could be viewers who would normally watch both, but may not now given they're on at the same time (I know they could watch one and record the other, but some viewers may not bother).
As mentioned before, the scheduling of non-music programming on Trace Urban seems to be due to low viewing figures, but if all they're doing is taking viewers away from Trace Vault, there isn't much of a benefit really.
Well if Trace want to be Nickelodeon + 25 years that's up to them but its always intriguing that music channels start pretending to be entertainment channels when people don't want to watch their music anymore. 4 Music was (and probably is still) good at this but then I suppose its cheaper to do it that way than it would be to rebrand the thing properly.
This was posted about in the new Sky channels thread, and the EPG listings on Sky seem to confirm it.
Trace Latina and Starz TV will be closing on 1st June at 7am.
Not much of a surprise to see some of the channels closing, especially Trace Latina. It's only lasted 7 months, and I always thought that out of the new Trace channels, it would be one which would bite the dust first.
I'm a bit surprised about Starz TV though. I thought Trace Urban might have closed first, although the addition of non-music programming previously only shown on Trace Vault may have helped Trace Urban.
