He's not someone who's ever entered my consciousness, though I recognise his name from LBC. Interesting interview though, anyoke else think he sounds like Paul Mckenna?

Yep, when I first heard Anthony I had the same impression. Smile

He was an absolute delight to talk to, so friendly and polite, and I must confess, his stories were fantastic to listen to. I am so lucky to be able to chat to people like Anthony and get their thoughts on their careers and their television lives.

Anthony's Five Minute News podcast is worth a listen to as well...

Delighted to announce that Christopher Peacock (ex Southern, TVS and London News Network) will be my next guest on the podcast.

I met Chris (you're going to ask him about that surely?) on work experience when I was a teenager and he was a very nice chap. I think he wasthe only person in the newsroom who took the time to come up, introduce himself and find out who I was and what I was doing.

You've got to ask him about that last Southern programme too

A lot of people have asked me to do this, and I will definitely talk to him about it. Christopher's memory of Southern and TVS is a bit hazy, as he said to me "it happened so long ago", but I'm hoping to jog his memory about those times, as well as his time on London Tonight.

I actually spoke to Christopher about being a guest on the podcast last year, and he agreed in principle, but it was impossible to record due to issues that I won't discuss here. However I spoke to him yesterday and he was happy to do it! It's going to be a face-to-face chat (like the Mike Bushell episode), and I'm looking forward to hearing some great stories.

I can't find the relevant thread but well done to Rob for getting on every magazine site under the sun this week (even if they didn't credit you!)

Thanks. Wasn't expecting all that when I woke up this morning.

When will Round the Regions begin?

I was hoping to start recording this week, but I'm currently recovering from a bout of tonsillitis, so I'm hoping to start in the next week or so.

Heart was the only one to "mention" TV Live, by reposting Susanna's caption. Well done Heart for having some common decency.

I was unable renew the hosting and domain for the site due to cost issues. I've since moved the site over to TV Live.
