A first glimpse of the set for tonight’s big PM debate. Corbyn v Johnson. Live @BBCOne tonight. I’ll be joined on set by debate moderator @bbcnickrobinson on @BBCBreakfast this morning. #GE2019 pic.twitter.com/E5OqGuZo9I

To simply omit him from the series without comment would not really be on.
I agree, but I thought it laboured on rather, and did start to feel as if Neil and the BBC were essential components of General Elections (which they're not)
You really think I do t have more questions? https://t.co/HGPovutj8u

Tories adamant that Boris Johnson said “people of talent” not “people of colour”. Channel 4 seems to have taken the video down

Tories feeling vindicated in their refusal to deal with Channel 4 last week

They're accusing Channel 4 of smearing Johnson...

Johnson confirms he is rejecting Neil interview
— Alex Wickham (@alexwickham) December 6, 2019
Senior Con source: “The public are fed up with interviews that are all about the interviewer and endless interruptions. The format is tired and broken and needs to change if it is to start engaging and informing the public again.”
Neil responds
Well, Corbyn interview got 3.2m viewers. So not that "tired".
— Andrew Neil (@afneil) December 6, 2019
The Tories posted it on Facebook. So not "tired" at all.
"Tired" never raised when trying to fix time and date.
This "source" is a "pyramid of piffle"
PS to source: monologue got 4m+ views. So some voter interest. https://t.co/c8NQqZKJgr
This afternoon could be quite interesting.
This afternoon could be quite interesting.
Any evidence of that being speculated?
Boris Johnson says “people of talent” not “people of colour.”

Our earlier tweet was a mistake. We misheard and we apologise.
Head of Channel four news will probably be gone by 5pm.
So, he’s appearing on any outlet possible, apart from the BBC. Lol.
I’ve watched the Channel 4 clip a million times, and am sure he said colour. Either way, whether colour or talent, the word was omitted from the subtitle. Rather dubious.
But, it’s all just become a big noise now. We’ve lost all sense of normality over this particular election. The noise is deafening yet the substance is zero.
Time for a wee break, methinks.....

... This sort of thing is why so many media organisations have collapsing audiences. We sadly do not expect the senior management at Channel 4 to take this terrible mistake seriously and we expect more of the same.” 2/2

ITN reputation on ITV and Channel five could suffer soon as well.
I think it's safe to say Channel four wont exist as it does in 2024 if the tories win a majority.

Given your record on predictions, I suspect the opposite will be true
