That is kind of how the 4 circles were used in promo end boards though. One circle had the 4 logo, one had the programme, one had the time it was on and the forth had an abstract image

Aah, Sky Scottish.

I wonder how Sky Scottish's pres would've evolved had it continued? It used both the tombstone and egg looks with the thistle included, but after that the Sky channels all had their own styles and Scottish ditched the thistle for the blue square, so had it survived that long it would've needed a different way to combine the two brands.

A great clip posted by Matt Lucas, the UK final of the 1979 World Disco Dancing Championships. Lots of ITV logoage..

That's a find! Keb Darge, representing the Grampian region, ended up going on to be a big name soul/funk DJ in the 90s and 00s.

Best ever? It's not even the best Irn Bru advert, not by a long way.

I don't think they'd use being transgender as a punchline these days. Interesting how attitudes have changed just in this century

To be honest the Cadburys advert with the gorilla playing the drums could have been regarded as the advert of the noughties...

ITV's 1972 Christmas Schedule scrapped because it was "too entertaining" apparently:

Which one do you think is the best overall? 1990 rock groups? 1993 strong girlfriend, 1995 quickies, Tommy Cooper? 1999 black and white? 2003 Baby? 2004 Phenomenal? 2007 goth holiday ? 2009 High school Musical, 2010: Pied Piper- Butcher?
Gets you through 2012 - 2016 Don't be a can't be a can. 2017?

We never thought mum was the punchline per say, more the reaction to what she said,. Like the parrot who highlight the woman who had more than on BF, Or how a wee boy in partnership with his mum who was in the shower..
