Lots of reading between the lines needed in that statement.

According to Private Eye, Burley has had a hissy-fit about Emily Maitlis getting Prince Andrew interview.

Even as someone who can enjoy Kay's style of presenting on occasion I don't think she would've been anywhere near as good as Emily was.

Surprised no one has mentioned Sarah Jane's Clive James clanger yesterday where she commented that he hosted a chat show which the Bee Gees walked off. Which of course was Clive Anderson.

Have to say Niall Paterson's 9pm show has been fab this election. It's like the Sky News of old. They just need to put Kay Burley back on daytime out the way, even more so with her new obsession with those bloody mugs!!
