Problems with the Bundesliga match on BTS Ultimate tonight. Very rough cut-through to coverage at the start, no title sequence, first half stadium background audio only no commentary. HT ad break rough switching, second half commentary restored. When the HD coverage ended 4K stayed with stadium beauty shots and team wind-downs for a good three minutes.
Re-run of Thursday's UEFAEL Rangers-Feyenoord match started ontime with correct sequencing after an ad break at 1930. Presentation seemingly now working again.

BT Sport Score ...
With only three FAPL fixtures this afternoon, BT Sport Score are providing studio discussion, with Andy Brassell, of an Italian Serie A match. I think this is the first time such coverage of a match from a competition for which they do not have broadcasting rights has been covered in this way. Premier having the rights to Serie A coverage.,

Have had it confirmed that BT Sport have held on to the Champions League TV rights - and are spending big which means UEFA not suffering the same drop in rights values as Premier League did with Sky/BT for domestic rights.

BT TV has announced a couple of developments today.
1. Recontracting and New Customers can get Amazon Prime free for six months following a link up between the two.
2. Access to BT Sport Ultimate on apps and connected devices previously restricted to BTTV direct customers has been extended to indirect (Sky, Virgin etc.) ones too on payment of a supplement.
Additionally Ultimate coverage of tonight's Rugby on AppleTV is available too.

Previously you had a choice of UHD SDR or HD HDR, but as of tonight the OTT app is now supporting UHD HDR.

Sky Sports Box Office HD has been added to BTTV YouView today, the addition of the rest of the NOWTV content can’t now be far off.

So now the channel is there, is there any indication of how BT TV viewers sign-up and pay to watch any PPV event? I.e. has BT started marketing Sky Sports Box Office?

Major issues with the Ultimate feed at the start of tonight's UEFACL match at Tottenham, which required a reboot in the production chain. The feed was totally washed out, with contrast and brilliance on the very low side, the cause of which in turn was screwing up some of the to customer distribution distribution channels. BTTV YV remained solid yet malformed, but on the feed which reached my iPad the app continued to fall over, as it couldn't decode the disrupted content. Once rebooted it was solid.

Always works fine on the Sony Bravia smart TV. The 5yr old BT Hub is 'hard-wired' into the BT box and it's never failed. Must be your local exchange or hardware.
They really need to improve the bitrate of the BT Sport HD channels on BTTV, get better quality streaming through my apple TV
